When I was growing up, I brushed my teeth twice a day because my mother told me to, and went to the dentist every six months with the rest of the family. I never left the dentist's office with a cavity, so I have to admit that I thought my mother was just overly cautious and that my teeth would still be in good condition whether I brushed them or not. When I moved out on my own, I began neglecting my teeth and later regretted it. I developed a tooth infection, and when I finally visited the dentist he told me that I was lucky I didn't wait any longer or the infection could have spread to my sinus. I am now devoted to oral health and want to help others learn what I have since then. I plan to post many dental tips on my new blog!
